Sir Bernard Freyburg places the jack, Mr W.G.Clark at far right, his mother Mrs Maud Annie Lett next to him. The occassion is the unveiling by the Governor General of the Memorial gates of the Levin RSA Bowling Club. The subtitle on the gates reads "Clark Memorial Green". The land was donated to the RSA by Mrs Maud Lett, formerly Mrs W.M. Clark
