The Freedom of the Borough of levin, given to the Corps of Royal New Zealand Engineers, on 7 February 1959.

For a number of years, the Corps has held a reunion in Levin every four years, with the next one to be held in 1981.

Each year, the engineers spend at least one day helping old folk in their gardens, and recently, they built the road into the new Donnelly Park.

They parade regularly on Anzac Day, and on other special occasions.

Reproduced from 75 years in Levin.
