Was initially examined for service in October 1916 and found to be medically unfit. Examined again on 13 October 1917 and passed fit.

Note: The family name was originally O'Sullivan but then the O was dropped.  Cornelius, Mary and John are all buried in Foxton.[Update provided July 2015 by Elaine McDougall]
