Hi my name is Stephen Bowe and I am living in Palmerston North which is not only 30 min drive from the old family farm where Cornelius Bowe lived. I would love to here any info you have. I am not sure what he did at war or what happened to his medals. My father has a plaque the family was issued. I would love any info on the bowe family you find.

My Mother is a niece of Cornelius Bowe ( commonly known as Bob). I am currently living and working in the UK and last week visited his grave at St Quentin Cabaret Cemetery near Messines in Belgium. This visit has motivated me to try and find out more of his service history before his death. If anyone has any ideas as to where I can find out more please get in touch with me at taylor-john25@sky.com. I have accessed his records from Archive NZ but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any detail about where he served. I know he was at Gallipolli as he was given a medal from there but there is no other detail of his areas of service.
