Killed in Turkish trench raid at Quinn’s Post (sector held by AIB 2-9 June 1915, aged 21 years, reported missing 8 June 1915.

Parents later moved to Tokomaru, Manawatu. 

Both buried Shannon Cemetery.

Previous Military Training: G Coy, Palmerston North.

Compulsory Military Training: Yes at Shannon.

On Attestation Form Date of Birth is 28 September 1887.

Hair: Dark Brown.                     Eyes: Blue.

Height: 5'6½".                   Chest: 34½" -  36½".

Complexion: Medium.       Weight: 10st 9lb.
