Killed in Turkish trench raid at Quinn’s Post (sector held by AIB 2-9 June 1915, aged 21 years, reported missing 8 June 1915.

Parents later moved to Tokomaru, Manawatu. 

Both buried Shannon Cemetery.

Previous Military Training: G Coy, Palmerston North.

Compulsory Military Training: Yes at Shannon.

On Attestation Form Date of Birth is 28 September 1887.

Hair: Dark Brown.                     Eyes: Blue.

Height: 5'6½".                   Chest: 34½" -  36½".

Complexion: Medium.       Weight: 10st 9lb.

Tried to edit ,but was denied acess. James Grewar Millar was my Great Uncle.I have dates of birth for both his parent and sibblings.Also photos at his place of employment pre WW1.
